Poland Architecture Photography - Museum of the Second World War, Gdansk

Winter is upon us again and snow has recently started to blanket large parts of Poland. I took this as a good opportunity to head up North to the coastal city of Gdansk and shoot various architectural landmarks in this specific visual setting. In particular, I was keen to photograph the beautiful Museum of the Second World War by Kwadrat architecture studio. The deep rusty-red color of its structure contrasting sharply with the muted white surroundings, giving the story of this architectural design even more impact.

The booth was designed as a partly see-through open space showcasing the brand’s latest models of e-cars as well as their flagship concept car and was integrated within the very core of the city center, inviting visitors to navigate through and experience the various functionalities of each car, as well as take them out for test drives.

Poland Architecture Photographer - CKK Jordanki, Torun

Poland has been developing a lot over the past decades and one of the most obvious signs of this is the modern architecture popping up everywhere around the country. I was recently given access by the very kind communications team at CKK Jordanki in Torun to document the amazing structure of this concert hall and conference center designed by Fernando Menis. The brutalist-influenced building suprisingly blends in seamlessly with its surroundings while the dramatic volumes inside create a unique experience for visitors and of course photographers as well.
